What 10Projects collects when you use this site, why, and how to see, correct or erase it.

What we collect, and why
Forms that ask for a price sheet or an alert
The price-sheet form on a project page, the "Tell me"/"Get the price sheets" form at the bottom of a listing page, the short forms inside Pooja (our chat helper), and the form on an ad page (addresses starting /go/) — all founder decision, 4 Oct 2026 — send your name, phone number and, if you choose to add it, your email, to our own server — not to WhatsApp or Meta directly. With it, we also record: which form and section of the page you used; the page's address and the one that first brought you to the site in this visit; where you came from (referrer); any advertising parameters in the link that brought you here (such as a Google or Meta campaign tag); the kind of device, browser and operating system you're using; and your IP address and, from it, a rough city, read from our hosting network's own location header. We use these only to answer your enquiry, assign one named advisor, and to measure which pages and ads bring in genuine enquiries (for example, through Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Meta's tools, each covered below). We reply on WhatsApp: submitting the form shows a button to open a chat with your advisor already started, carrying your enquiry.
Messaging us on WhatsApp directly
Every other "Ask on WhatsApp" link, chip or quick question on this site is a wa.me link. It opens your own WhatsApp app with our advisor's number and a pre-filled message — your number goes to WhatsApp (Meta) and to the advisor who replies, not to a form on our server. WhatsApp's own privacy policy covers the message itself.
Your answers about what fits you
Questions like budget, commute or school board are answered on your own phone and kept in its browser storage (localStorage) — never in a cookie, never on our server, and never tied to an account, because we don't have buyer accounts. This is separate from the price-sheet and alert forms above: we only see an answer here if you choose to share it with an advisor yourself.
If you save your answers to use on another phone
Saving your answers keeps them against a one-way scrambled version of your WhatsApp number (we never store the number itself). To get them back on a new phone, you enter the number again and a 6-digit code we send on WhatsApp; the code expires after 10 minutes and a sign-in link after 30. You can ask us, on WhatsApp, to delete these saved answers at any time, and we do.
Forms on ads pages (addresses starting /go/)
Ad pages show a short Name + Mobile form, now switched over to the same rule as the price-sheet and alert forms above: nothing beyond what's described on this page is collected.
Why we're allowed to do this
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, our basis is your consent: you choose to message us on WhatsApp, and you choose to save or share your answers. We use what you share only to answer your questions and connect you with one advisor — never to build a profile to sell to anyone.
Who sees it, and the services we use
Your number is never sold. A price-sheet or alert form is seen by the one named advisor it's assigned to, and by the small ops team that runs 10Projects, on the Leads screen in our admin. We don't pass it to developers or other brokers.
Services that help run the site, each only doing its own job:
- Cloudflare — sits in front of the site for speed and security, and (on the home page only) offers a rough, labelled guess at your city from your IP address so we can show nearby homes first; nothing from this is stored, and one tap changes it. It's also where the IP address and city recorded with a price-sheet or alert form come from.
- MilesWeb, our hosting provider in India (LiteSpeed server) — stores the site, the leads table and, briefly, server logs.
- Google Maps — "Open in Google Maps" links take you to Google's own site; we don't embed a tracked map.
- Google Tag Manager — only if enabled (a container ID set in our Site screen, never loaded for our own staff): it's the one place a lead form's success (never your name, phone or email — only the form, the section, and the project or area) and, where set up inside it, Google Analytics (GA4) and Meta's pixel, fire from.
- Google Analytics (GA4) and, where linked, Google Ads — only if enabled, whether loaded directly or through the Tag Manager container above, and not at all for our own staff. You can opt out using Google's Ads Settings (opens in a new window) or a browser extension.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ads tools — only if enabled, through the Tag Manager container above: when you arrive from a Meta ad and then send a price-sheet or alert form, Meta may be told that its ad led to that enquiry, never your name, phone or email.
- Google Fonts — if a page loads a font from Google's own servers rather than from ours, Google can see that request the way any font host can.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — carries every message you choose to send us, under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
A price-sheet or alert form (name, phone, email and the page context described above) is kept for two years from when you sent it, then deleted automatically. Saved personal-fit answers stay until you ask us, on WhatsApp, to delete them — we don't delete them on our own. A WhatsApp sign-in code lasts 10 minutes, and the link it unlocks for 30; both expire on their own either way. Nothing from a quick visit — browsing homes, using a calculator — is kept once you leave, beyond ordinary server logs.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- Access what we hold about you.
- Correct it, if it's wrong.
- Erase it — including saved answers, at any time.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you're unable to.
- Raise a grievance if you're not satisfied with our answer (next section).

Children
10Projects isn't intended for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has shared data with us, message us on WhatsApp and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
When this changes, we'll update the date at the top and say what changed.
